The underfloor housing (Raised Floor Box) serves as zone distributor area (ZDA) or consolidation point in data centers. Installed in the raised floor, the housing offers room for 288 connections. The steel housing neatly fits the 600x600 millimeter grid dimensions. This solution has been designed for raised floors in data centers and is therefore advantageous for the space requirements in 19" distribution cabinets. The steel housing is mounted in just a few minutes. It is linked to the supports of the raised floor construction with two sturdy mounting brackets. The housing can be flexibly equipped with 19" units. The slanted arrangement of the 19" units ensure safe patching and a perfect visual control of all labels. The cable bundles are protected by five Velcro tapes and any unauthorized access is prevented by four locks in the cover. The product combination of steel housing and pre-assembled cables reduces installation time and eliminates failure sources, ensuring trouble-free move/add/change (MAC) processes.
